I said a prayer for you today
And I know god must have heard.
I felt an answer in my heart,
Although He spoke no word.
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame,
I know you wouldn’t mind.
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a more lasting kind.
I asked that He’d be near
You in all things great and small.
But it was for His loving Care
I prayed for most of all.

Husband, father and friend, you were our strength and backbone. How can we survive without you? Please have God send us understanding and comfort. We will miss you so much. You are our Hero! Rest in peace. We love you so very much.

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this lasting light.
