Dear Chuckie, we don't know how to write an obituary for you. You weren't one for the traditional or formal. Instead, we'd like to toast to you, your life, and all the stories you've left behind.
Thank you for your never-ending appetite in everything. We teased you for your love of food and drinks, but your enthusiasm at gatherings was infectious. You always went full speed ahead and did what you enjoy whether it be becoming captain of your own boat, pushing your old car around when it couldn't quite make it back to the driveway, or insisting there should always be dessert.
You did it all and we don't know how we'll get by without you. You were the comedian, the handyman, a pain in the butt, and Captain of our boat. We've shared stories of your high school years as star athlete and lead in the school play, your shenanigans at Ripon College, and all the dogs and animals you've doted on. You were the foundation of our amazing home in Appleton and husband of 34 years and will live on in our hearts forever.
Thank you for the love and noise. Say hi to God for me.
