He was born December 12, 1937, in Bhadaran, India, the son of the late Manibhai and Kamalaben Patel. Chandrakant was the manager of the Colonial Inn of Appleton

Survivors include his wife, Minaxiben C. Patel, of Appleton; his son, Himanshu C. Patel and his daughter, Deepa Vipul Patel, both of India. And other extended family members and friends.

Funeral services for Chandrakant will be on Sunday, March 26, 2006, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton, at 12:00 p.m. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
