Catherine Sampson

Catherine J. (Behrendt) Sampson passed away from AML, an aggressive form of leukemia on January 3, 2025, at the age of 60.

She was born on November 17, 1964, in Appleton WI to Jerome and Donne Behrendt. Catherine enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her siblings. She enjoyed pom and dance in high school and graduated in 1983.

Catherine then attended FVTI for accounting. She married Greg Sampson on September 13, 1985. They enjoyed 3 sons together and she loved being a stay-at-home mom who also did a lot of volunteer work.

After the kids were in school, she worked full-time for Northeast Asphalt and spent 18 years there. She began in 2006 and stayed there until the end.

Catherine is now with her parents and grandparents in a heavenly world.

She is survived by her children and their families: Ken and fiancé Carissa and her daughter Freya Laabs, Brandon and Bailey Sampson and their kids Oliver, Archie, and Libby, Christopher and his friend Krissy Rule, and many other friends and family.

My siblings are Laurie (Allen) Clark and their kids Travis and Tracy, Darleen Behrendt of Kimberly, Linda (Dan) Sanchez and her kids Jeremiah, Joshua, and Jesse (Claudia) Swiechowski, Sandy (Steve) Fenn of Grand Chute and a brother Steve (Lynn) Behrendt and their kids Jayden (Kathryn), Cambria (special friend Ben) and Alayna Behrendt.
