formerly of Greenville

Age 96, joined her Lord and Saviour on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2003, at Rennes Health Center. Catherine was born on April 4, 1907, in Little Chute, to the late John and Anna (Jansen) Siebers. She married Thomas L. Cahoe on August 11, 1930; after 60 years of marriage he preceded her in death on December 6, 1990. Catherine was a Past Worthy High Priestess of the White Shrine; loved to travel, bake and fish; and for many years was the crossing guard on Memorial Drive. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Franklin) Potter, Kaukauna, and Jeanne Stielow, Neenah; her daughter-in-law, Josephine (John) Thiel, Black Creek; her son-in-law, Myron Gardow, Overland Park, Kansas; her sister-in-law, Loretta Siebers, Appleton; her grandchildren, Thomas (Alison) Potter, Diana (Bob) Schuh, Catherine Clauson, Richard (Jill) Potter, Stacey Paul, Scott (Jennifer) Stielow, Penny (Tony) Williams, Cheri Cahoe, Bonnie (Paul) Knaack, Connie (David) Kedrowicz, Becky (Beaver) Huss, Leslie Hayes and Alison Cochran; her 21 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Cahoe; her daughter, Shirley Gadow; her son-in-law, Peter H. Stielow; her great grandson Jason Cahoe; and her sisters, Josephine Freier, Kaukauna, and Nellie McCormick; and her brothers, Hank, Marty, William, Louis Siebers. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on April 23, 2003, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Rev. Lynn Kolath officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon until the time of services. A memorial has been established in Catherine’s name to benefit the Salvation Army and ThedaCare Hospice. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to that staff at Rennes Health Center and The Renaissance.
