Catherine “Kay” E. Kluck, age 92 of Kimberly, passed away early on Tuesday morning, April 17, 2018 at Kay was born February 20, 1926 in Newtown, New Foundland, daughter of the late Archibald and (Emily) Hall. Shortly after high school, Kay met and married a young soldier who was stationed in St. John’s, Edwin Kluck, on January 19, 1944. At that time, Kay was already working in a local hospital. In 1945, the couple moved to Wisconsin and had lived in Kimberly in 1954. The couple was married for over sixty years, until Ed’s passing in 2010.
Enjoyed flower gardening, travel, shopping, and was known to be rather excitable during Packer games. Most of all she enjoyed time with her loving family and time at the cottage. Kay was a longtime and faithful member of Holy Spirit (Holy Name) Parish in Kimberly, and held her faith close to her heart.
Survivors include her son: Howard (Carol) Kluck of Little Chute; grandsons: Christopher (fiancée Sara Porto) Kluck of Brillion, Trevor (Christine) Kluck of Little Chute; great-granddaughters: Michaela and Hailee Kluck; and a great-grandson, Trenten Kluck. Kay was preceded in death by her parents
The funeral liturgy for Kay will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH – HOLY NAME CHURCH, located at 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service.
