DIETZEN, CATHERINE J. (WALSH), “CATHY”

Catherine Dietzen, of Appleton, age 71 years, died peacefully Tuesday, September 26, 2006 with her family by her side. She was born November 24, 1934 in Appleton the daughter of the late Ben and Marie (Miller) Luka, adopted by the late Edward and Agnes Malouf. Cathy was employed at Midwest Reality Management, Oshkosh for 20 years, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed fishing, country music and most importantly spending time with her family.

Cathy is survived by her son: Jeff Walsh, Appleton; daughter: Lisa Besaw, Appleton; son-in-law: Brian Besaw, Appleton; grandchildren: Jennifer, Lucas and Travis Walsh and Aimee Kattner; great grandchildren: Taylor, Tyson, Hailee and Leslie; special nephew: Christopher (Terri) Anderson and their son, Trevor, Hanover Park, IL and dear friends, Bruce (Tina) Brunner, Weyauwega. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cathy was preceded in death by a great niece, Natalie Anderson.

The funeral service for Catherine will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, TRI COUNTY CHAPEL with Deacon Maury Reed officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
