Appleton – Catherine A. Coolidge, 79, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. She was born on May 19, 1942, in Kenosha, the daughter of Anthony and Martha (Johnson) Piencikowski. Catherine was born in Kenosha, but moved and attended school in the Beaver/Coleman area. She was a Girl Scout troop leader, volunteered at St. George Elementary School, and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Kenosha. Catherine enjoyed all things J.R.R. Tolkien, Gen Con, knitting and crocheting, completing sudoku puzzles, and coloring. She was united in marriage to Donald G. Coolidge on June 14, 1966, and they shared 49 years together, before he preceded her in death on March 10, 2016.
Catherine is survived by her children: Donald (Robin Siddall) Coolidge, of Appleton, WI, Martha Coolidge of Fond Du Lac, WI, and Victor (Nicole Tunks) Coolidge of Manitowoc, WI; a brother, Mark (Joy) Piencikowski of Pound, WI; and a sister, Ann (special friends Camie and Mark Koeppler) Piencikowski of Marinette, WI; and two sisters-in-law, Barb Piencikowski of Oshkosh, WI and Sandy Piencikowski, of Bergland, MI; her grandchildren: Elizabeth, Caidia, Natalie, Tessa, A.J., Brittany, and Breann (Austin) Steffen, Faith, Sidney and Zachary; her great grandchildren: Andres and Asher other relatives and friends.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers: John and Tony Piencikowski.
Funeral Liturgy will be held at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine St., Appleton. Visitation will be on Thursday at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of the Mass. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at St. Casimir Cemetery, Kenosha.
Catherine’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, for all of their care, compassion, and support.
