Mary Lee Caston, 84, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning June 2, 2004. She was born March 9, 1920, to the late Leo and Emily (Roche) Snyder, in Boston, Massachusetts. Mary Lee married Ralph H. Caston February 12, 1946; he preceded her in death July 1, 1993. She enjoyed cooking, attending Arts and Crafts classes, playing bridge, spending time with friends and was a Red Cross and Meals on Wheels volunteer. Mary Lee was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Martha Caston, South Bend, Indiana; Bob and Carol Caston, Neenah; James and Karlene Caston, Appleton; two grandchildren, Nicholas Caston, San Diego, California; Angela (Shane) Bartmess, South Bend, Indiana; a great grandson, Lane Bartmess; a sister Norma Thompson, Sun City West, Arizona; a brother, Paul Snyder, Boston. Mary Lee was preceded in death by a son, John Caston in 1986. A memorial service for Mary Lee will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 5, 2004, at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 West Pine Street, with Father Justin Werner and Deacon James Asmuth officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the church one-hour prior to the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
