Age 54, died Tuesday, September 4, 2001. She was born June 12, 1947 to Ernest R. and Erline M. (Gehring) Plautz in Wausau, WI. Carolyn enjoyed reading, cards, crafts, animals and her dog, Button.

She is survived by her mother, Erline May Plautz; her daughter, Tamra (Micheal) Plautz-Schepp; three sons, Nick Plautz, Lon Michael Plautz and Clint Butenhoff; two granddaughters, Aislinn Plautz and MandaLynn Thorson. She will also be missed by her brother, Robert L. Plautz and three cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Robert Plautz, her grandmother, Estella N. Gehring and her aunt, Ruth Beilke.

A Private Family Memorial Service is been planned.

A memorial has been established in Carolyn’s name.
