Carole Jean (Peterson) Laemmrich, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018, after a lengthy and courageous battle with diabetes. She was born on July 26, 1942 in Menominee, Michigan, the daughter of the late Norbert and Doris (Hallfrisch) Peterson. She graduated from Stephenson High School in Stephenson, Michigan. On May 21, 1976 she married her soulmate, Gerald “Gus” Laemmrich. She most enjoyed spending time with her “little family” and her many friends. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, golfing and following her granddaughter’s (Katie) many sporting endeavors. She will be fondly remembered for being a fierce friend to many, the best mom to Mike and Mother-in-law to Deanna, a loving grandma to Katie, and the love of Gus Laemmrich’s life.
One of Carole’s favorite pastimes was to laugh. Especially with her son.
Carole is survived by her husband, Gus and her son Michael (Deanna) Laemmrich of Appleton. Carole had one grandchild that was the light of her life; Kathryn (Katie). She is resting in heaven with her parents and brother Robert Peterson.

Thank you to the ThedaCare Hospice Team and the ThedaCare team on the 6th floor. Thank you to all of Carole’s dear friends.. Carole treasured your friendship and so does her family.
