Carol Walz

We mournfully announce the passing of Carol Walz, age 95, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at Oakridge Memory Care Unit, Menasha on January 8, 2024. Carol was born on February 12, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to Josef and Josefina Wasilewski. Carol lived a full and vibrant life educating and counseling youth. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Srs. Adelinda, Estelle, Joselma and Adeline, and Anne Walz and brothers Adolph Wasileski (Pauline) and Donald Walz. She is survived by her nephews Paul (Heidi), John (Ellen) Wasileski, nieces Judy (Alan) Lang and Sara (Matthew) Spors, and many great nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thank you to her dear friend Julee Mansfeld.  When Carol retired, she volunteered her time at her long time parish St. Bernard’s in Appleton. We will miss her dearly. A visitation for Carol, Anne and Don Walz will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 12130 W Center St., Wauwatosa, WI 53222 on January 25, 2024 at 5:00 pm, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 5:30pm. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee on January 26, 2024.
