Carol Seidl, age 72, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Monday, November 1, 2021. She was born July 21, 1949 in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Michael and Leona (Sigl) Seidl. She was a 1967 graduate of Xavier High School and was employed by Little Ceasars for 27 years.
She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters: Thomas Seidl, James (Donna) Seidl, Sharon Keddell, Michael Seidl, Donald (Luann) Seidl, Jack (Jann) Seidl, Robert Seidl, Nancy Greene, Steven (Dianne) Seidl, and Debra (William) Gear; sister-in-law: Nancy Seidl; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers Jerry Seidl and Dick Seidl; and brother-in-laws: Tom Keddell and Al Greene.
Carol will be remembered for her love of simple pleasures which included but was never limited to a good meal, drinks, reading and watching movies. She was an avid Brewers, Packers, and Badgers fan. A special thank you to her nieces and nephew: Emily, Olivia, Courtney, Claire, and James (her “rugrats”) who helped care for Carol and shared many happy memories with her.
The funeral liturgy for Carol will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Wichmann Funeral Homes, 537 North Superior Street in Appleton. Deacon Dan Koszalinski will be officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
