Carol Schoen

Carol Schoen, 74, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center.

Carol was born on March 29, 1941 to Herbert and Lucille (Reed) Wickesberg in Appleton. She was married to Harvey Schoen for over 55 years. She was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Packers and the Cubs. Carol was a very giving person and had a wonderful sense of humor even when she lacked a filter at times. She liked a good party and spending time with family and friends was important to her along with her dog Lady.

Carol is survived by her husband, Harvey Schoen of Appleton; a daughter Kathy (Dan) Paulik of Menasha; a son: Jesse (Esther) Schoen of Appleton; six grandchildren; Matthew, Katie, Tony, Abbey, Samantha, and Heather, siblings; Ramona Kirkland, Lucille (Wayne) Schoen, Sue Chapman, Joe (Shirley) Wickesberg, and Pat (Karen) Wickesberg, her dog Lady, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Tiger Schoen.

The memorial service for Carol will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St. Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
