Carol Mae Kilsdonk, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 22, 1942, in Appleton, the cherished daughter of Walter Sr. and Lorena (Knoll) Wolf. Carol married the love of her life, Ronald J. Kilsdonk, on May 5, 1962.
Carol dedicated many years of her professional life to Primary Care Associates. In her personal life, she was a talented crafter, a passionate gardener with a special love for flowers, and an enthusiastic traveler who cherished her visits to Texas and Michigan to see her sisters. Carol was known for her selflessness, always willing to drop everything to be with her children and grandchildren. Her presence could light up any room she entered, bringing warmth and joy to all who knew her. She had an infectious love for a good joke and always knew how to make others laugh. She formed lasting friendships, especially with the Red Hats ladies and her Bunco group. Her spirit and laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Kilsdonk; her beloved daughter, Diane (Brian) Weyenberg of Appleton; and her loving son, Greg (Orla) Kilsdonk of Appleton. She was a proud grandmother to Michael (Stefanie) Weyenberg of Oneida, WI, Ryan Weyenberg of Kaukauna, WI, Curtis (Molly) Weyenberg of Green Bay, WI, Ashley Smith (special friend James King) of Appleton, and Andrea (Kyle) Pawlowski of Menasha. Carol was also a cherished great-grandmother to Asia Weyenberg (fiancé Jacob Mayville) of Elk Mound, WI, Soren Weyenberg of Oneida, WI, Hunter, Brooke, and Maci Weyenberg of Kaukauna, WI, Archer and Griffin Weyenberg of Green Bay, WI, and Vincent and Wrigley Pawlowski of Menasha, WI. She is also survived by her two dear sisters, Bonnie Ertl of MI, and Mary (Jerry) Ewig of TX.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Walter Wolf Jr., and her sisters LaQuitta Frankland and Jeanne Wirth.
Funeral services to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass.
Carol’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of ThedaCare Appleton for their compassionate care and support.
