Carol L. Harthun, 75 years, passed away August 12, 2018 at The Heritage Assisted Living in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was Born December 22, 1942 to Alexander and Eunice Beyer (Slominski) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Messmer High School, Class of 1960. Carol was a Quality Control Inspector with Realist in Berlin, Wisconsin and Speed Queen in Ripon, Wisconsin.
Carol was an advocate for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty. She was active at the libraries in Berlin and in Neenah. Most of all she enjoyed her time with her family.
Carol will be missed by her children Eric (Kim) Harthun, Kristi Branchford and Sheri (Dan) Grobner, her precious rainbow of grandchildren Avery, Gabe Harthun; Hailey, Grace Branchford and Emmalie, Alexa Grobner, siblings Bobbie (Lee) Erdmann, Sandie Schneck, Dan (Luann) Beyer, and Beth Foster. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, a brother David Beyer and a brother-in-law Joe Foster.
A Memorial Gathering for Carol will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Wichmann-Fargo Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Private inurnment.
A memorial fund will be established
