Carol Kunstman, age 91 of Kimberly, passed peacefully at her home on July 25, 2023. She was born in Milwaukee on October 9, 1931, daughter of the late Clarence and Esther (Holz) Meyer.
On July 2, 1949, she was united in marriage to Leonard Kunstman. Together, they were blessed with five daughters. Before Len's passing, the couple celebrated 68 years of marriage.
Carol was an avid bowler and golfer who was also blessed with a green thumb. She also enjoyed knitting and sewing, and was a voracious reader who always completed the daily crossword puzzle. With her many interests, she truly enjoyed any challenge, whether it was a difficult pattern to crochet, to grow an unusual plant from seed, or design fabulous Halloween costumes. With five daughters, you can imagine she sewed many clothing items, including prom dresses and matching holiday dresses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was truly overjoyed to be a great-great-grandmother.
Carol is survived by four daughters: Christine Coffey, Deborah (David) Casper, Becky Kuehl, and Lori (William Vander Pas) Kunstman; grandchildren: Amy (Timothy) Vander Hyden, Bradley (Kelly) Coffey, Kevin Kuehl, Nathan (Stephanie) Vander Pas, Adam Vander Pas, and Andrea Vander Pas; great-grandchildren: Nicholas (Brooke) Vander Hyden, Travis (Nicole) Vander Hyden, Zachary Vander Hyden, Owen Coffey, and Kylee Coffey; great-great-grandchildren: Beau and Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, daughter Terry Lynn, son-in-law Joseph Coffey, three sisters: Dorothy (John) Fuhrmann, Audrey (Arthur) Nabbefeld, and June (Leonard) Williams; and one brother, Charles.
