Carol A. Koepke, 71, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton. She was born on July 13, 1952, in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Ralph Jeun and Elizabeth Sarah (Meehan) Clark. Carol was employed as an inventory auditor for over 30 years with RGIS Inventory Specialists until her retirement. She enjoyed SciFi and fantasy, especially Star Trek, drawing, horses, and doing genealogy research. Carol will be remembered most for her love of family, especially her grandchildren, cooking for her family and crocheting numerous blankets for family and friends.
Carol is survived by her 4 children: Richard Wayne (Blanca) Koepke, Robert Lee (Christine) Koepke, Erica Anne (Aaron) Pivonka, and Kenneth Michael (Ashley) Koepke; 8 grandchildren: Justin, Dorian, Hailey, Brendan, Madylynn, Wyatt, Hilda, and Freja; 5 siblings: Ralph Clark, Kathy (John) Lizor, Mary Olson, Roy Clark Sr., and Virginia (John) Hermans; her best friend of 56 years: Linda Rose Olson; other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life service will be held from 12:00 to 2:00pm, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 302 N. Morrison St., Appleton. Carol’s family requests that you wear mom’s favorite colors of blue or purple, or Star Trek apparel in honor of mom.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
Carol’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at ThedaCare at Home and Hospice, Peabody Manor, Pastor Shrum, Chaplain K.C., and all of their immensely supportive family and friends for their kindness, care, and compassion.
