Carol June Kahler

KAHLER, CAROL JUNE

Carol was called to her heavenly home on April 21, 2007 following a long battle with cancer. She was born June 2, 1942 in the Town of Center, the daughter of the late Alvin and Lena Kahler. Carol was baptized and confirmed at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Town of Center. She graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in 1960 and then worked for Kimberly-Clark for 25 years. Carol received a medical retirement and spent the past 20 years at Park View Health Center. She often talked about the kind, loving and caring friends and staff that she had at Park View who made her feel so very much at home. Carol enjoyed crocheting, playing her keyboard and listening to music.

Carol is survived by her brothers: Orlin (Carol) Kahler, Neenah and Kenneth (Rose) Kahler, Nichols; sisters: Ione (Vincent) Berg, Appleton and Violet (Delmar) Sawall, Appleton; sisters-in-law: Grace Kahler, Shelby Twp., Michigan and Jean Kahler, Kimberly. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Floyd and Donald Kahler.

The funeral service for Carol will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Park View Health Center.
