Carol J. Stadler, age 70, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. She was born Sept. 28, 1934, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Richard and Sadye (Beyer) Kottke. Carol was united in marriage to Eugene Stadler on October 2, 1956. Carol was the housekeeper for many years at St. Bernadette rectory.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene; her children, Steve Stadler, of Sherwood, David (Glenda) Stadler, of Black Creek, and their children, Craig and Megan (Kyle Grusczynski), Paul (Peggy) Stadler, of Little Chute, and their children, Benjamin, Justin, Angela, and Sadie, and Richard Stadler, of Appleton; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Jim Ebben, Cyril and Doris Stadler, Donna and Gerald Reynebeau, Rosie Stadler, and Mary Stadler; and special friends, Molly DeLaine and Pat Kottke.
Carol was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce VanderLogt, Ronald and Bernice Stadler, and Gerald and Jerome Stadler

The funeral mass for Carol will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton, with Fr. Don Zuleger officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services directly at the church. A memorial fund in Carol’s name is being established.
