Passed away on December 20, 2017 at the age of 70. Carol was born on February 10, 1947 to Edward and Helen Collins in Topeka, Kansas. Carol attended Seaman High School and later trade school while residing in Topeka. Carol was always a hard worker, and has been employed since the age of 16. Carol worked in social services for many years prior to her retirement. Carol was an accomplished piano player, artist, painter and also was active in martial arts.
Carol is survived by her daughter Irene “Ivy” (Damon) Brog; her grandchildren April and Andrea Heath and Mack Brog; and her great grandson Noah Elpayaa. Sister of Patti (Dean) Short, Craig Collins, and Gary Collins. Carol is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services at 11:00 AM. Memorials to the Ministry of Fox Valley Church of Christ or Harbor House in Carol's name are appreciated. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and friends of Atrium Post Acute Care Facility in Little Chute for their care and kindness towards Carol.
