GALLESKE, CAROL A.
Carol A. Galleske, age 66, of Appleton, died on March 8, 2007, at Franciscan Care Center, Appleton. Carol was born on September 30, 1940, in Shawano to Altibel (Eggert) Stern and the late Charles Stern. She married Clifford Galleske on October 3, 1964, in Shawano. Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an administrative assistant at AAL and a secretary at Wisconsin Electric Corporation. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardening (especially roses), and collected dolls, flamingos. Carol was blessed with the skills of an artist and enjoyed drawing and photography. She was a longtime member of Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church and was a member of the LWMS and, with Cliff, was a member of the Benevolence Committee and the Food Pantry. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Cliff; her mother, Altibel Reinke, Bonduel; her children, Stephen (Angie) Galleske, West Bend; Paul (Valerie) Galleske, Fond du lac; and Sarah (David) Egelseer, Hustisford; her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Thomas and Lydia Galleske; Abbie, James and Luke Galleske; and Samantha, Carissa and Sophia Egelseer; her sisters, Althea (Marvin) Klosterman, Bonduel, and Janice (Andy) Tymoszenko, Troy, Ohio; her sisters-in-law, Florence Miller, Shawano, and Diane (David) Dorschner, Hortonville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Charles. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007, at MT. OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Benjamin Berger officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano. The family would like to thank Dr. Timothy Goggins, Dr. Brian Avery, Dr. Zenoun Abouzelam and their staffs, and the staff at Oncology Department at Appleton Medical Center, Affinity Hospice and Franciscan Care for their loving care. A memorial has been established in Carol’s name to benefit the Central African Medical Mission (CAMM), Mt. Olive Altar Guild, Mt Olive Building Committee and Thoughts of Faith.
