Carla Ann Maloney

Carla earned her wings on December 22, 2024.  She was born July 9, 1952 to Charles and Bernadette Maloney, Jr. and worked for many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She then went to Affinity (Ascension) Home Health Care doing home infusion until retirement.

Carla loved life, most important were her family and great friends. She traveled a lot and had many great vacations. She also loved doing crafts and enjoyed giving them as gifts. She especially enjoyed a shot of tequila with friends and family.

Her greatest joy was becoming a “wish grantor” for Make-A-Wish. She volunteered with them for many years.

Carla is survived by siblings Chuck (Laureen) Maloney, Mike (Barb) Maloney, Kathy (late Mike Verhagen) and MaryAnn (Frank) Peragus. Along with many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Mike Verhagen.

A memorial funeral liturgy for Carla will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2024, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Appleton.  The church is located at 1617 W. Pine Street.  Visitation will be held at the church on the date of the service, beginning at 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
