Carl Martin Casperson, age 66, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by the love of his family on January 26, 2020. Carl was born on February 6, 1953, in Neenah, son of the late Carl and Helen (Lorge) Casperson. He married Rebecca Sokel in the May of 2006. Sadly, she passed in 2018. Carl worked for the Neenah foundry as a forklift driver for over 40 years, retiring in 2016.
Carl enjoyed the simple things in life: camping, hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and watching NASCAR. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Carl is survived by his children: Stacy (John) Ruhl, Scott (Patty) Johnson and Carl (Sarah) Casperson; his grandchildren: Tony (Amy) Johnson, Mariah Capelle, Courtney Johnson, Stephanie Polk, Rylin Casperson, and Taelin Casperson; six great grandchildren: Allyssa, Harper, Lexi, Parker, Orryon, and Keegan. He is further survived by his sister Laura (special friend Rosalie Simone) Casperson. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Rebecca Casperson.
A celebration of Carl’s life will take place at City Limits, 544 Fourth Street, Menasha, at 2:00 pm on February 15, 2020
