Candace Ann Coenen, “Candy” age 50, of Menasha, died on Wednesday August 29, 2007 at Cherry Meadows Hospice, after a long and courageous battle with skin cancer. Candy was born on June 30, 1957, in Appleton to the late Irvan and Particia (Hintz) Coenen. She attended St. John Catholic School through the 10th grade and subsequently graduated from Kaukauna High School. For the past five years Candy was an employee at the Hand & Upper Extremity Center of Northeast Wisconsin. Candy loved flowers, gardening, blue grass music, laughing with friends, spending time with family, and especially her granddaughter, Brooke. Over the past few years, she lived out her dream of owning and riding her Harley Davidson “Sultry Sunny”. She was a member of ABATE and the Harley Owner’s Group. Survivors include her daughter, Christine (Michael J.) <br>Dietzen, and their daughter, Brooke, Appleton; her sister, Constance “Connie” (Don) Koller, and their son, Derek, Iron Mountain, Michigan; her sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Dan) Nelson, and their children, Ken, Danielle and Jennifer, <br>Brillion, Wisconsin. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday September 5, 2005 at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel, 3212 S. Oneida St., Menasha with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 P.M. until the time of services.
