Braxton L. Phillips of Appleton, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023. He was born a truly loyal Aquarius on February 15th, 2000 in Green Bay, WI, to Aaron Jones III and Melissa Phillips. Braxton attended Seymour High School, Appleton North High School, West De Pere High School and in 2018 he proudly graduated from West De Pere High School. He loved playing video games, rapping, playing baseball, playing football, wrestling with siblings, playing many other sports, and going on many adventures. He was fiercely loyal to anyone he loved; he was also very charismatic, charming, passionate, and mischievous. Braxton will be remembered for the love he has for his family and his wildcard personality; you never knew what he was going to do next.
Braxton is survived by his father: Aaron Jones III; siblings: Aaron IV, Ariana, Nevaeh, Dayvon, Sylas, Heavenly, Aaryn, Harmony, Isabel, Ameira, Alina, Alani, Miasia, Sadye, Jocelyn, Patrick, Nicholas, Alexis, and Luella; grandfathers: Claude Phillips and Aaron Jones Jr.; grandmother: Beverly Mustin; aunts and uncle: Amy Sue Schroeder, Tracy Phillips, Dawn Ricketts, John Phillips, Pamela Mustin, Allen Mustin, Sabrina Mustin, and Bianca Jones; special cousins: Leticia Phillips-Castillo, Raul Phillips-Castillo, and Claudia Phillips-Castillo; and many other relatives and friends.
Braxton was preceded in death by his mother, Melissa Phillips; brother, Treyvon Jones; and a grandmother, Debbie Phillips.
Braxton’s family will greet guests on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. There will be an informal memory sharing on Tuesday at 6:00pm.
