Age 45, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on Saturday, February 7, 2004. She was born in Neenah on January 2, 1959, daughter of the late Roy and Alice (Rohloff) Huettl. She married Jim Ulrich at St. Paul Lutheran Church on December 16, 1983. They enjoyed 20 years of marriage. Bonnie was a Senior Accounting Assistant for 23 years for Theda Care/Touchpoint. Bonnie regularly attended church at St. Paul Lutheran. She will always be remembered for “Craft Sunday,” where she would organize members of her family on Sunday and make crafts or organize baking. Bonnie was a loving wife and devoted mother and her presence will be missed by all.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Jim; two children: Robert and Tina Ulrich of Appleton; four brothers: Ralph (Lynn) Huettl of Winneconne, Steve (Mary) Huettl of Winneconne, Bruce Huettl of Clintonville, Tommy (Sharon) Huettl of Winneconne; three sisters: Carol (Ronald) Worthey Sr. of Waupaca, Tom (Fay) Berg of Appleton, Gloria (Fiancé, Robert Lust) Bork of Appleton; father-in-law, Ed (Margaret) Ulrich of Ashwaubenon, sister-in-law, June Huettl of New London; brother-in-law, Ron Plamann of Little Chute. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ricky and Larry Huettl; niece, Sheena Berg; nephew, Brian Bertzyk; mother-in-law, Bernice Ulrich; sister-in-law, Connie Plamann. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 302 North Morrison Street, Appleton. Friends will be received at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for their professional and compassionate care of Bonnie.
A memorial fund in Bonnie’s name is being established.
