Age 82, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at Franciscan Care Center, Appleton. Blanche was born on December 11, 1919, in Appleton, to the late Wilfred and Leona (Applebaker) Courtios. She married Donald Green on August 3, 1940; he survives. Blanche was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and reading. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Donald; her son, Thomas (Susan) Green, Appleton; her daughter, Diane (Norman) Miller, Neenah; her grandchildren, Patrick (Angie) and Adam Miller; and David and Shane Green; and her great grandchildren, Jasmin and Dominque; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, James; her grandson, Robbie; her brother, Gerald; and her sister, Myra Van Dyke. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff a Franciscan Care Center for their loving care.
