Beverly Mae Koester, 84, of Appleton, passed away on Friday September 10, 2021 surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Appleton. She was born on May 21, 1937 in Clintonville, Wisconsin. The daughter of Albert and Adela (Gruett) Loose. In 1955 Bev married Russell Spaulding and had six children together, then later separated. In 1979 she married Wayne Koester. Beverly was a long-time member of Faith Lutheran Church and was very passionate about the members of the TOPS Group. Beverly also was a receptionist for the city of Appleton with the Department of Public Works until her retirement. In her free time, she was a part-time cook at Georges Steak House. She also enjoyed going to the casino, cooking, camping, golf, Creative Memories scrapbooking and bowling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her.
Beverly is survived by: Jeanne (Marvin) Baeten of Appleton, Rachel (Chris), Danny (Demi), & Kyle; Joan (Jeffrey) Gosz of Neenah, Jason (Damita), & Jonathon; Linda (Mike) Gosz of Fremont, Tim, Mike, Jr. (Beth), & Shelly; Jeffrey (Janet) Spaulding of Park Falls, Jenny (Brent) & Jackie (Jake); Lori Spaulding (Garry) of Appleton; Lisa (Robert) Koehler of Hilbert, Brittany, Tyler (Jessica) & Mattece; Kristy (Paul) Sitter of Appleton, Paul (Shirley), Sara (David), Mike (Lisa); Linda (Chuck) Thompson of Menasha, Jessica (Adam), Matt; Lana Wilson (Craig) of Menasha, Amy (Hank), Chad; and Randy Koester (Robin) of Kimberly Chris (Ferwoini), & Andy. 42 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Sister-in-laws Sandy Loose of Greenville and Darlene Loose of Bear Creek, Brother-in-law Bruce Johnson and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, Brothers Floyd, Alois, Jerry and Gary Loose, sister-in-law Fran Johnson and her first husband Russell Spaulding.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church (601 East Glendale, Ave Appleton WI 54911.) Pastor Daniel Thews will officiate. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM until the hour of service at the church.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the care and assistance received from the staff at ThedaCare at Home Hospice, doctors, nurses, friends and family.
