Age 66, former Neenah resident, died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Appleton Medical Center. Beverly was born on May 22, 1935, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to the late Guerdon Freeman and Elsie (Doede) Rewey. She married Fred Gerhardt in January of 1956; he preceded her in death in February of 1975. She then married Willis Luedeke in March of 1978; he preceded her in death in October of 1994. Beverly enjoyed traveling with her husband Willis, was formerly a beautician in Neenah and was an avid reader and gardener. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah, and a member of the choir at Bethany Lutheran Church, Combined Locks.

Survivors include her daughter, Jan Marie (Terry) Voight, Kenai, Alaska; her seven grandchildren, Jesse (Sarah) Voight, Angie, Joshua, Rachel, Jeremiah, Sarah and Jonathan Voight; her three great grandchildren, Cassie, Jared and Brianna Voight; her sister, Sharon (Mark) Fekete, Danielson, Connecticut; her brothers, Wayne Rewey, Oriville, California, and Maynard (Patricia) Rewey, Neenah; her five stepchildren, Tom (Mary) Luedeke, and their children, Jennifer and Nicole, Neenah; Joan (Myles) Nickles, and their children Andrew and Matthew, Chesteron, Indiana; Rebecca Wheaton, and her children Chad and Sara, Menasha; and Beverly’s great grandchild, Alexis; Pauline (Mark) Heiman, and their children Allison and Adam, Menasha; and Joel (Kathy) Luedeke, and their children, Joelle and Jourdan, Danville, California.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2001, at the Star of Hope Chapel in HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, with Rev. Walter Steinbach of Bethany Lutheran Church, Combined Locks, officiating. Friends may call directly at the cemetery chapel on Tuesday from noon until the time of services. A memorial has been established in Beverly’s name.
