Beverly Borrmann, age 88 of Appleton, passed away at her home. Bev was born in Milwaukee on June 20, 1929, daughter of the late Robert and Dena (Johnson) Coulson. She graduated from both high school and Business College and on August 2, 1947 married William “Bill” Borrmann in Milwaukee. Together, the couple spent over sixty beautiful years together and raised six children. For many years, Bill practiced chiropractic in town, and for many of those same years and beyond, Bev submersed herself in her love for the Lord. She started and supported nursing home ministries in the area, was an early on-air personality at WEMI THE FAMILY radio station, loved to plan music and worship services, organized and participated in prayer walks, and spent countless hours lifting up area churches in prayer for the good news of Jesus to be spread to those who don’t know the Good News. Maybe as important as all of that is the fact that she mentored others to do the same, effectively increasing the power of prayer many times over. That will be Bev’s legacy.
Bev is survived by her loving family: Blair (Leah) Borrmann of Indianapolis and their daughter Mara; Bari (Craig) Mader of Farmington, Minnesota and their sons Caleb (Kajsa) and Spencer; Bonnie Borrmann (Ron) of Wisconsin Dells and her children Conrad, Emily, and Jason; Barbra (Robert) Frahm of Appleton and their children Andrew (Alexandria), Austin (fiancée’ Caroline), and Abigale; Marvin (Nancy) Taylor of Sturgeon Bay; Maria Taylor of Appleton and daughters Anna and Alicia (Chad); and Dannie (Josephine) Taylor of South Beloit, Illinois and their daughters Connie and Dawn (Bob). Bev is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters: Mavis (Louis) Theisen and Lois (Robert) Burdette.
