Beverly Ann Hungerford

Beverly Ann Hungerford, age 69, of Appleton, Wisconsin passed away at St Elizabeth Hospital on January 23, 2023. Beverly was born on June 25, 1953 in Ohio to the late James and Violet Cordle. She lived there until she was nine when her family moved to Norfolk, Virginia so her dad could work with Norfolk and Southern Railroad.

For the next 18 years she spent her time going to school in Virginia and working in factories. She found the love of her life, Milo, an Assistant Navigator in the U. S. Navy and they were married at her parents’ home on June 21, 1980.

The couple then moved to Maine while Milo’s new ship was being built. They lived in a cottage on a lake for a year, then moved to Florida for the next three years. Milo was then transferred to Beverly’s home town of Norfolk Virginia and they lived there for 14 years. In 1984 they celebrated birth of their only child, Robert. When Milo retired from Navy they moved to his home state of Wisconsin where they could be near his family. She worked at Anchor/McCain for five years until health issues caused by Diabetes caused her to retire. Her favorite time of year was Halloween. She loved all the decorations and watching old horror movies. She will be laid to rest next to her parents in Norfolk, Virginia.
