Betty A. O'Neil

Betty A. O’Neil, 77, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

Betty was born on September 17, 1941 to Henry and Christine Bukiewicz in Milwaukee. On June 6, 1970 she was united in marriage to Gary O’Neil. Betty worked at Kohl’s Department store for several years until her retirement. After retirement Betty and Gary traveled by car throughout the country. She was active in the African Violet Society and won many awards for her violets. Betty loved to be around people and she always enjoyed entertaining friends and family. She also enjoyed boating and barbequing.

Betty is survived by her husband Gary O’Neil, son Doug O’Neil, a sister, Joanne Kingl, a sister-in-law, Barb O’Neil, nieces; Jennifer Fliss, Rachel Cruz, Darla Groat, Kim Gabrick, and Shelly Mahan , other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law; Daryl O’Neil and Daniel Kingl, and a nephew Andy King.

The funeral liturgy for Betty will be held on January 10 at 11:00 AM at ST BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine St. A time of visitation will be held on January 10 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
