Formerly of 2263 Park Avenue, New Holstein, age 89, died Monday afternoon, November 24, 2003, at Sharpe Care Nursing Home, Oconto Falls. She was born July 3, 1914, to the late Daniel and Blondine (Nohr) Schilling, in the Town of Maple Grove, WI. Berniece had been employed by Walgreen's and at a physician's office in Green Bay and then by Calumet County Homestead of New Holstein, until her retirement. She married Merlin J. Wiesner on September 20, 1969; he precdeded her in death on September 1, 1998. Berniece and her husband volunteered at the New Holstein Florist. Survivors include five step-children, Judy Wolfe, Gillett; John (Lizabeth) Wiesner, New London; James (Jeanette) Wiesner, Manitowoc; Joan (Richard) Dewey, Two Rivers; Jerome (Sandy) Wiesner, Milwaukee; 22 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Merlin and by her sister, Dorothy. Funeral services for Berniece will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2003, at the funeral home, with Reverend Luke Bocher officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
