Age 95, passed away at her home on Saturday April 14, 2007. Bernice was born August 21, 1911 in Appleton daughter of the late Frank M. and Bertha (Snyder) Reck. She married Wilbur “Bill” Draeger in 1933 and he preceded her in death in 1960. Bernice was proud of her career at Kimberly Clark and Sears where she worked for many years. She enjoyed gardening, making soup, and going to fish fry’s. She also loved to play Sheepshead. Bernice is survived by her sister Eunice M. Verbrick, Appleton, five nieces and 2 nephews: Floyd and Mercedes Reck, Minnesota; Joylene and Andrew Delie, Appleton; John and Sally Reck, Appleton; Darlene and Denny Walsh, Georgia; Lynn and Tom Van Buskirk, Colorado; Lois and Ike Wolfgram, Appleton; and Carol Jansen, Appleton. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers Floyd and Florian “Geet”Reck.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday April 18, 2007 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial is being established for the St. Elizabeth Hospital Community Foundation.

Aunt Sis enjoyed a special love and friendship with her niece Carol and great niece and nephew Julie and David Jansen, who provided many years of care. She will be greatly missed.
