Bernadine Fisher, of Appleton, age 94 years, went to be with her Lord on April 4, 2021.
She was born November 17, 1926 in Underhill, Wisconsin, daughter of Alfred and Helen Behm. On February 24, 1945 she married Harvey Fisher in Whittier, California. Bernadine graduated high school in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was employed by the Menasha Public School System from 1958 to 1989, serving as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools in the later years. Bernadine was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Appleton. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking, knitting and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Bernadine is survived by her sons: Dennis (Joanne) Fisher, Mukwonago and Ron (Karen) Fisher, Charlotte, North Carolina; she was blessed by five grandchildren: Erik, Nichole (Mark Pietila) and Scott (Dolce); Erin (Jason Pavelchak) and Greg (Tiffany); and seven great grandchildren: Tessa and Lacey (Pietila), Seanna, Parker and Thomas (Scott), Isabel and Judah (Pavelchak), and her siblings Donna (Behm) Ewing and Leroy (Betty) Behm. Bernadine is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings Elaine (Litchfield) and Donald Behm.
A private family memorial service will be held for Bernadine. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
