Age 56, passed away at Cherry Meadows in Appleton on Thursday, September 7, 2006. She was born in Neenah on January 15, 1950, the daughter of Warren and Mildred (Knutzen) Romberg. Becky graduated from F.V.L. in 1968 and later graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Evanston, IL. On August 6, 1970 she married her husband of 36 years in Chicago, Robert Brown. Becky loved all babies and was particularly suited to be a neonatal nurse for many years working at Central Dupage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She enjoyed going with her family and friends to Wisconsin Dells to relax.

Becky is survived by her husband, Robert; children: Justin Brown of Aurora, IL, Andrew Brown of Appleton, Allison (Lucas) Zona of Port Orange, FL, and Jillian Brown of Appleton; granddaughter; Mia Gray; mother; Milly Romberg of Neenah; sister, Pam (Garry) Sievert of Suamico; sister-in-law, Meg Romberg of Wheaton, IL. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and their children. Becky is preceded in death by her father, Warren; and her brother, David.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2006 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 930 E. Florida Ave., Appleton, with Rev. Joel Zank officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery, Dale.

A memorial fund in Becky’s name is being established.
