Age 88, passed away at her home in Kaukauna on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. She was born in Pembine, WI on April 14, 1917, daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Bezier) Harris. Bea was married to Daniel Collins who preceded her in death in 1963. She was very fond of her Greyhounds, Tasha and Eva. One of her last requests was that another Greyhound be adopted and brought into the home.

Bea is survived by her son, Jerry Collins of Kaukauna; and a special nephew and his wife, Randy and Sherrie Champagne of Norway, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Iron Mountain, MI, and a niece and nephew in Appleton. Bea is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Collins; brother, Sylvester Clark, sisters; Vivian Petscher and Rosetta Champagne; and two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2005, at the GREENWOOD FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 500 Hendricks Avenue, Kaukauna, with Fr. Robert Udulutsch O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.

The family extends a special thank you to Rachel Schroeder R.N. and social worker Julie Ives, both of Affinity Hospice; and Dr. Alan Cherkasky for Bea’s wonderful care. Further, a very special thank you to Bea’s closest friends: Joann, Inge and Dorothy.

A memorial fund in Bea’s name is being established.
