Barbara L. Hansen

Barbara Lea Hansen, 77, of Appleton, WI, passed away on April 22, 2018 in Neenah, WI.

Barbara was born in Manitowoc, WI to Martin and Bernice Andrastek on November 3, 1940. She went to school at St. Andrews parochial school and graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc.

Some of Barbara's favorite actives included sewing, painting, any other type of craft making, and she loved making cards.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mother Bernice Andrastek and father Martin Andrastek.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Leonard; son, Chris (Mary) Hansen; son, Steve (Cyndie) Hansen; brother, Dick (Betty) Andrastek; sister, Mea (Jon) Anderson; grandson, Christopher Hansen; granddaughter, Kaylie Youmans; granddaughter, Abbey Guyette; granddaughter, Stephanie Hansen and granddaughter Hannah Guyette.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the America Diabetes Association (donations.diabetes.org).

The family of Barbara wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Thomas Van Sistine, Danielle, Beth at Brewster Village, the staff at Brewster Village, Jen and the Hospice staff, along with the entire staff of the fifth floor at Theda Clark medical center.

Visitation will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.

A visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 404 W. Lawrence St, Appleton, from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, April 28, 2018. The Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00 am with Father Jim Leary of St. Joseph presiding.
