Barbara Seabelle Anderson, age 89, died peacefully on March 1, 2024, at ThedaCare Neenah. Barb was born in Duluth, MN on November 19, 1934, to Kenneth and Signora “Babe” (Erickson) Eames.
Following high school, Barb married a man named Ole (shocking that he was from Minnesota!) and the two were married for only 6 months before his passing. She went on to marry Steve Anderson and the two proceeded to adopt two children, Tim and Carol Louise.
Barb began her work life at the age of 15, and throughout her life held a variety of jobs and had many adventures. She loved being a truck driver with Ole, spent time working the machine and packing lines at various manufacturing companies, and of course, her most proud job was Mom, and later in her life Grandma.
Barb was spunky and always on the move. She loved to play bingo and playing the slots, loved many types of yarn crafts including crocheting and needlepoint and enjoyed puzzle books and watching home improvement shows. Barb had a special place in her heart for “thrifting” and was always proud of her finds. Barb loved to have pet kitties, and she always had a furry friend in her home.
Barb is survived by her children: Tim and Carol Louise, grandchildren: Cheryl, Brooke, Bridget, and Samuel; and great granddaughter (and pride and joy) Katherine and furry friend BadBad. She is further survived by brother Paul (Mary) Eames; brother-in-law Larry Geisner; and siste- in-law Jeanette Eames.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings: Jerome “Bing” Eames, Susan Geisner, Carol Eames, and Frederick (Ruth) Eames.
