Austin James Jirikowic, age 21, passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 8, 2016. Austin was born on February 15, 1995, the pride and joy of John and Julie (Dearth) Jirikowic.
During his life Austin was active with the Boy Scouts; he also enjoyed camping, fishing, and four wheeling while growing up at both grandparents' cottages. One of Austin's greatest passions and enjoyments was the time spent at Grandma and Grandpa Dearth's home in Friendship “Dearth Camp”. Austin recently bought his first Harley Davidson Motorcycle so he and Grandpa Dearth could continue their road trips.
Austin is survived by his loving parents John and Julie Jirikowic, Appleton; grandparents James “Jim” and JoAnn Dearth, Friendship; Jim and Ellen Jirikowic, Hilbert; aunt Jodi Sullivan, Hilbert; uncles Lester(Cheryl) Dearth, Friendship; Jim Jirikowic, Jr., Appleton. He is further survived by cousins Kristen Dearth and Grace and Connor Sullivan, as well as other special family members and many important friends.
The funeral service for Austin will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Wichman Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St. Menasha. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund had been established in Austin's name.
Austin had a personality that drew people to him. He will be remembered as a kind soul willing to help anyone in need. Austin will be greatly and forever missed by every life he touched. We love you Austin.
