Age 90, formerly of Chicago, IL, Lake Park, FL and Port Saint Lucie, FL, died peacefully at her home, Tuesday afternoon, February 25, 2003. She was born September 23, 1912 in Poland, Europe, the daughter of the late Julian and Mary (Misiewicz) Jankowski. She graduated from Holy Family Academy in Chicago, IL in 1930. Aurelia married Matt Woscinski at Holy Trinity Church, Chicago, IL on November 22, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1981. Aurelia will be remembered for her kindness, modesty and unselfishness. She will be remembered for instilling a love of reading and a thirst for knowledge in her children by her word and example. But, primarily, she will be remembered for teaching her children that the love of God far surpasses any other knowledge. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Yolanda Woscinski, Appleton; Narcissa and Allen Comber, Hortonville; a son and daughter-in-law, Casimir and Dalia Woss, Houston, TX; grandchildren, Lisa Comber, Hortonville; David (Tamela) Comber, Madison; Gintaras Woss, Seattle, WA; Algis Woss, Urbana, IL; a great grandson, Zachary Knackstedt, Hortonville; and a sister, Lucille (Don) Balsamo, La Jolla, CA; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Aurelia will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 28, 2003, at the funeral home, with Father William Hoffman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am, Friday, until the time of the service.
