Arnold L. Vandenberg

Arnold Vandenberg, age 85, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. Arnie was born in Kaukauna on May 6, 1921, son of the late Theodore and Catherine (Vanden Heuvel) Vandenberg. In July of 1954 he married the former Harriet Ebben; she preceded him in death on July 2, 2000. For over thirty years, Arnie was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper in Kaukauna.

Survivors include two children: Anne Wilcoxson of Appleton and Thomas Vandenberg of Appleton; a granddaughter: Kristina Kiar of Menasha; two sisters: Margaret (Marv) Vander Velden of Little Chute and Mary (Bob) Weyenberg of Menasha. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Harriet in 2000, a son Paul in 1989, as well as numerous brothers, sisters, and in-law.

The funeral liturgy for Arnie will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 9, 2006 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHRUCH, 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Robert Udulutsch, OFM Cap. officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday morning form 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
