Anthony ''Tony'' E. Dario

June 26, 1938 — February 10, 2002

Age 63, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday February 10, 2002 from a short illness.
Tony was born in Iron Mountain, MI on June 26, 1938 the son of Joseph and Ora (Frickelton) Dario.
The family later moved to Iron River, MI where Tony graduated from Iron River High School in 1956.
Tony moved to Appleton in 1968 and was employed by Miller Electric Manufacturing for 28 years and retired in 1996. Tony married the former Sylvia Peterson on September 27, 1969 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his cabin in the Upper Peninsula.
Tony is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sylvia; a brother, Jack his wife, Sylvia, and their children, Tasha, Anissa and Scott. A brother-in-law, Milton, his wife Mariam, Peterson, and their children, Cheryl and Michelle; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Peterson; all of Rhinelander, WI. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Sylvia’ s parents, Edward and Irene Peterson.
The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, February 15, 2002 at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH (1810 North McDonald Street) at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service (11:00 a.m.). Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

A memorial fund is being established.
