Anna Marie Halaychik

Anna Marie Halaychik passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024.  Anna was born in Green Bay, WI, on May 21, 1948, the first child of Elmer M and Marie Halaychik.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her brother Tom Halaychik, and three nieces, Lisha McConnell, Beth (Brent) Kirchner and Joya (Eric) Kunick, and three grand nieces, Nora and Reese McConnell and Zoey Kunick.  In addition, Anna is survived by many cousins, friends, neighbors, former coworkers, and acquaintances. 

Anna graduated from St. Mary High School in Menasha (1966) and had a successful career which consisted of clerical, bookkeeping and accounting work for several different companies.  She enjoyed helping others, and after helping several friends with their taxes Anna studied and started her own small tax preparation business.

Anna enjoyed working but was also very generous with her time and her talents.  She enjoyed volunteering with the St. Vincent DePaul group, and had a special place in her heart for dogs, donating to a list of animal rescue charities.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Menasha.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Menasha. A visitation will also be held prior to Mass from 9:30-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated, by the family, to Anna's favorite charities.
