Anna C. Weyenberg

Anna Weyenberg died peacefully on Tuesday morning, June 27, 2006 at St. Paul Manor in Kaukauna. She was born in the Netherlands on January 7, 1913, daughter of the late John and Theodora (Peerenboom) Jansen. In September of 1936, she married John M. Weyenberg; he preceded her in death in 1991. As a young woman, Anna worked various jobs in the area, including Hopfensperger Meats, Bovin Restaurant, as well as Berens Clothing. Anna sewed her entire life, and will be remembered by all for the clothing she made for her family as well as enjoying knitting and crocheting.

Anna is survived by six children: Richard (Louise) Weyenberg of Kaukauna; Carol (Greg) Coenen of Shawano; Janice Minten of Darboy; Raymond (Janice) Weyenberg of Rogers, MN; Dorothy Lamers of Wrightstown; and Charles (Nancy) Weyenberg of Kaukauna; a daughter-in-law: Bev Weyenberg of Kaukauna; twenty-five grandchildren: Patrick (Sara) Weyenberg, Kris (Michael) Bostedt, Daniel (Kim) Coenen, Corrine (Michael) Herbert, Gwen (Steve) Skinner, Paul Coenen, Dawn (Derek) Doberstein, Ellen (Jeff) Liethen, Debra (T.J.) Ott, Kelly (Jim) Sanderfoot, Lisa Vandehey, Todd (Sarah) Minten, Jeff Weyenberg, Tim (Kelly) Weyenberg, Wendy (Tim) Behnke, Scott Weyenberg, Jill (Scott) Thole, Mark (Holly) Lamers, Mike (Brenda) Lamers, Cindy Lamers, Matthew (Erin) Lamers, Peter (Ann) Weyenberg, Julie Weyenberg and her fiancé Jared, Brian (Amy) Weyenberg, and Robert Weyenberg; thirty-three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Loretta Weyenberg of Appleton, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, a son James Weyenberg, sons-in-law Eugene Minten and Dan Lamers, a grandson Ken Weyenberg, a grandson-in-law Steve Vandehey, as well as eleven brothers and sisters.

The funeral liturgy for Anna will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 30, 2006 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Friday at the church after 10:00 AM.
