Anna Katherine Baxter

Anna Katherine Baxter, 33, died on September 11, 2023 at home in Appleton.  

Anna was born in Appleton on March 29, 1990, daughter of Gail Charlotte Baxter, of Toronto Ontario, Canada.

She attended Appleton schools, graduating from Appleton West High School in 2008. Anna was a talented artist with a lovely singing voice and an infectious wit who loved her family and friends. She also deeply loved animals.  

In addition to her mother, Anna is survived by two sons, Emery Michael Goetsch of Shawano and Elliot Nathan Baxter of Brillion as well as her aunt and uncle, Susan Baxter and Nathan Wright, of Appleton, with whom she lived for many years, two cousins, William Baxter of Appleton and Trevor Baxter of Lent, Netherlands, and her maternal grandmother, Roberta Myers of Monterey, California plus numerous other relatives near and far. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a contribution to a local humane society in Anna’s name.  

An internment is planned for next summer. 

A celebration of Anna’s life will be conducted at Wichmann Funeral Home

3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023.
