Ann Marie Dougherty (Werner), daughter of the late Richard C. Werner and Annabelle G Werner (Keller), passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024 at the age of 75.
Ann had a passion for cats and owned them for most of her life. Her hundreds of pictures and statues sustained her when she could no longer care for them. She loved fishing and motorcycle rides. Ann overcame much hardship and maintained her sense of humor throughout her life. May she rest in peace.
She is survived by her sister, Gwen Werner (Chuck Nelson) and brother, Kurt (Kathy) Werner; her son, Chris (Jill) Dougherty; her grandchildren, Cassidee (Justin) Timm, Conner (Kaylei) Dougherty, Chloe (Cody) Wilkum, and Calli Dougherty; her great-grandchildren, Milo and Maggie Timm and Beau Wilkum; as well as her nephew, Colin (Rhea) Nelson and great-nephew, Bodhi.
The family would like to extend a special thanks for her doctor for many years, Dr. Elizabeth Menzel, for the care and compassion she had for Ann.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952 on January 11, 2025 from 3-5 PM. Friends and family are kindly invited to join in conversation and remembrance.
