Andrew "Andy" Gustaf Sakis

Andrew “Andy” Gustaf Sakis, age 45, passed away on the afternoon of September 4, 2016. Andy was being visited and comforted by family and friends at the Atrium Post-Acute Care of Appleton at the time of his passing. Andy was born on June 3, 1971 in Menasha, Wisconsin. He was the youngest child of Arnold and Beverly Sakis.

Andy had a few different careers throughout his life. He started out as working as a painter with his dad at his painting business. He then worked at Fox Valley Asphalt and later worked at JCP Enterprises of Appleton as a handy man.

He loved to spend time outdoors and was an avid deer hunter and very good trout fisherman. He loved to spend the day wading in the trout stream enjoying life. He was also a huge NASCAR fan and attended many races throughout the years.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Sakis; sister, Cheryl (Glen) Wright; brother, Michael (Dawn) Sakis and nieces, Jessica and Ashley Sakis. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Sakis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Trailside Tavern, 977 Plank Road in Menasha. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
