She raised money for the Fox Valley Symphony in its formative years and was a devoted member of Wednesday Music Club and SAI. In addition to musical activities, Amelia, was involved in many other civic and religious activities including those of Appleton Womens Club, Fiction Club and First English Lutheran Church.
Amelia was an avid doll collector, displaying her dolls at Secura Insurance, and finally donating the entire collection of over 1100 dolls to the Fox Cities Children’s Museum, for all to enjoy.
While most noted for her song and dolls, the most cherished gifts to her family and friends were her smiles, laughter, sense of humor and faithful, unconditional love and caring.

“There is a vibrant joy about Amelia. Seldom a day goes by that she doesn’t express her appreciation for what’s beautiful – flowers, birds, nature and the spontaneous, true – to – life personalities of children.” Gordon A. Bubolz
